Swim like the big ones – an explanatory video for Swiss Aquatics

The Kids Learn to Swim program from Swiss Aquatics is an efficient and creative training system that motivates children to move in the water, encourages them to play and awakens the fun and desire of the water. We were allowed to record this offer in an explanatory video. Particularly exciting: There were two target groups: the children and their parents.
The challenge
The goal was to create a video that appeals to parents and children alike and at the same time can convey a wealth of information. So we had to communicate as much content as possible on more than one level. It's not that easy!
In addition, there was a challenge regarding the chosen style of animation. Our motion designer was initially skeptical about whether and how the whole thing should work. Outline figures, this was uncharted territory for us…
The solution
The idea to get the problem of the two target groups under control was as follows: Bobby takes us through the entire video. A kind of mascot, which on the one hand appeals to the children and on the other hand can communicate all the necessary information to the parents competently. So we worked with a sympathetic character, who is supposed to make the children laugh and nevertheless conveys the most important points clearly and clearly.
Our Motion Designer spent more time than usual with the chosen style and took the time to bring the characters to life. The whole team enjoyed this special challenge. Something new is always a challenge, but it is also a lot of fun to go into unfamiliar terrain.
The creation of the video for Swiss Aquatics was almost as beautiful for us as we find the final result. We have learned a lot and are proud to be able to help bring the wet closer to children and parents.
